This is a desert wadi revealing a crucial fact: There is fresh water not to far from the surface...A closer look will teach us, this wadi had experienced a flood a few months ago but not only one this year... So if we were tracking from Jerusalem, down to John the Baptist, this would be a good track to follow, just as Jesus did... 700 years later and for a few hundred years to follow, this was the sugar cane transport route, used mainly by the Muslim merchants.
