An amazingly diverse 4x4 track!! In Biblical times and right through to 1892, pilgrimage up from the coast to Jerusalem, was a two-day journey requiring guidance, rest and food. One of the most moderate climb tracks was the Nachal Sorek track. It runs all the way from Jerusalem down to the Mediterranean sea, has springs along it, food farms and shade trees. Today, it is a highly diverse terrain track with sand dunes, flat rich soil plantation planes, fertile valleys, thick pine tree covered hills and a couple of artificial water dams.

This track was used by pilgrims of all three faiths, all heading up to Jerusalem.

Every winter, the rains flood part of the track, transforming it into a travelers trap, but once spring dries the mud, new tracks are opened for enjoyable and challenging 4x4 touring.
