In the lower valley, we dive through orchids of mango trees, bananas and vineyards all grown by state of the art farming technology and knowledge, resulting in a beautiful display of tones of fruit... Hundreds of years ago, a fascinating water activated flour mill was built from basalt rock and can still be identified by the ruins... Many crossings of the Samak stream, may be accompanied by energetic "singing" of sparrow birds, nesting in the crown of thorns trees growing densely near the water.
One of the pleasurable water sites up the Samak stream is the natural white marble slide, created by the combined flow of Nachal Samak and Nachal El-Al...

The climbing gets steep and the track deeply cut by fast-flowing winter rain water. This is a driving challenge increasing adrenaline levels for passengers too...Unexpectedly, as we climb, a narrow track, with no apparent reason for its existence, crosses ours. This was intended as a water channel, dug by Syria into the side of the cliff. How was this remote water channel, the real trigger for the 67' war, we will learn sitting in a water stream under a basalt bridge...
