Nahal Akbara runs down from the holy city of Zefat but it holds a mystery of its own...The legend is, that one of the Biblical time Judea kings, realizing the danger of the Temple treasures being confiscated by attacking powerful kings, had dug caves somewhere between Ein Cachal and the Acbara cliff. All in the close vicinity of Nahal Akbara...

The legend was so powerful, that Napoleon, on his journey to expand his empire, dug half way up the Acbara cliff... And so, after such massive digging, most treasure hunters gave up too. However....Nachal Acbara, Ein Cachal, Acbara cliff and Acbara bush hidden caves suggest infinite possible treasure hiding sites...Where would you hide the gold?....

Zefat is one of the four holy Jewish cities and 900 meters above sea level. It is well known for spiritual kabbalah studies, it's proximity to Har Meron, it's inspired artists quarter and its annual lively Chasidic Klezmer music festival in August (3 days). We will enjoy a short visit to this mountain air spiritual atmosphere and maybe aim for a "fulfillment meditation"...

This peaceful small synagogal "hall", is a world attraction for all students of the Jewish mystical Kabbalah and for tourists striving to feel the atmosphere of mystical studies.  At 1570, Rabbi Isaac Luria - The Ari Hakodosh, made this synagogue and specifically, a small windowless booth in the east wall, a high power meditating focus. The result being, a new study concept of the Kabbalah, to become main stream Kabbalah for the next 500 years and onwards, named Etz Hachayim (the tree of life).

Small groups of students, will come hear for meditative studies but for tourists, this is a "fulfillment meditation" opportunity (a powerful form of personal prayer).  

Depending on time and priority: More hidden sites in the Zefat mountains forest, are Metsudat Noazim with the first new age Israeli settlements, Kever Uziel, a highly respected prayer granting burial site, Navurian Mishna synagogue ruins and the rappelling cliff of Nachal Dalton.

Last but one of the most beautiful water beds in the upper Galilee, Nachal Dishon, full of natural high mountain Mediterranean vegetation...
