800 meters above sea level, in Har Hanegev desert, stretches the unique ​Nachal Elot. It hosts the most phenomenal collection of Mt. Atlas Mastic trees in Israel. Some of these trees are 1600 years old, their twisted and hollowed trunks are natures art at work... Mystical leafless twisted arms in winter, wine-red fruit in autumn and rich shady green in the scorching desert summer...

Another transformation attraction in this far out desert track, are the 2100 year old Loots water holes for farming...These farms, the last and most southern farms on the ancient camel track to Timna copper mines, established by king Solomon, produced wine, olives, pomegranates and wheat. The sharp contrast of green grass and barren desert brown in winter is stunning and is the major territory for the Persian Onager 

More along the track, a couple of desert Leopard stone traps, Asiatic donkey habitat with a reasonable chance of viewing a few, beautiful white and tan limestone rock formations and dark oxidized dolomite rocks called the Patina phenomena.

Near the north end of the track, we are granted a magnificent view of the Sinai biblical valley of Kadesh Barnea, one of the desert camps of the Israelites on their track back to The Homeland. Two deep desert water wells at nearby BeErotaim are named in honor of Moses and Aharon, leaders of Israelites through the desert.
