The Carmel east climbing 4x4 jeep track, is packed with natural beauty all year round, but in autumn and beginning of winter, the flowering of the crocus and Vartan's Iris, are a bonus... The track itself, is a challenging climb while enjoying the fantastic view of Izrael (meaning the Almighty will seed..) valley. At the peak of the Carmel ridge, is the Muhraka - a Carmelite monastery, its name in Arabic meaning "the fire" and referring to the biblical story of Elijah and the 400 priests of idols. The tour track turns south west to Ramot Menashe and the all round year freshwater springs along Daliya stream.
