The colors and contrast are so unique, it is hard to believe... Both dark and white colors originate from lime stone, though the one is Flint stone and the other soft Kirton. This is the view from the top of Chorvat Katsra, the ruins of a Nabaty guard post some 2000 years old. It was the builders of Petra, the red rock city in the Jordan desert, that established the camel "Incense route". From the spiritual viewpoint, this mountain post, has proved to be extremely powerful for Mahamudra meditation...Worth trying... Chorvat Katsra. Location: Negev desert.
